You may choose to receive email notifications that are sent securely through our server. What does this mean? It means that emails are sent from us and arrive in your inbox from us. For example, if someone wants to contact you through the website, they will go through our servers to you, and your email identification is masked to them. They send an email to us and we basically forward it to you. You get the email from us with the content from the sender. This way no one can grab your personal information and use it wrongly. You may choose “No” to receiving email notifications. In this case you will be notified only by the Alerts on your pages when you log into the Story of My Life website that you have new Messages etc.
