What types of files can I upload?
We have allowed a certain set of common file types to upload. The reason there is any restriction is because we want to ensure that your Files will be accessible in the future as technology constantly changes. Think about how difficult it would be today to listen to an 8track tape, for example. By limiting the file types to the most commonly used ones, we ensure that support for these files will be ongoing long into the future.

*The reason the Story of My Life system does not support compressed or zipped files is that for your insurance for the future, we need to know the file type in order to be able to convert them for future use if the technology to use them becomes obsolete. Story of My Life guarantees future support for all file types listed above.
