Chapter

Chapters are a way to cross index and categorize topics that may occur through several (chronological) Stories your Story Chapters. A Chapter is the over-arching time frame, such as "My Childhood" or "My Teenage Years" and you can write as many Stories inside each Chapter (or Category) as you would like. There is no limit to the number of Chapters or the number of Stories you create.

The Story of My Life is a great way to organize your life Story for future generations. When you write your Story, you may start with either Chapters or Categories. Most people will start with Chapters as they are based on a chronological ordering of events in your Life Story. Examples of Chapters could be anything such as "My Early Childhood" or "My Teenage Years".

There may be a time when writing by Categories makes more sense. You may start by writing about a particular topic, OR you may establish a list of Categories and when you write your Chapters (based on the chronological timeline) you can then assign Categories to Stories to easily index and cross-reference items in your Story. Any reader may then view your Story chronologically or by Categories. Category examples could be "My Pets" or "My Career" or "My Grandchildren".
