I Leapt from A U-Haul

I arrived in Poway during the summer of '91 at the ripe old age of five.  I would soon be six years old and ready for my last will and testament.  I leapt down from the U-Haul truck and was immediately approached by two individuals on bicycles.  A boy and girl introduced themselves as Bobby and Candace.  They quickly asked if I had a bicycle and if I would like to join them.  I was not allowed in that moment.  My parents wanted me to see the inside of what would soon be my newest and greatest memory book.  I turned to the book and opened the front cover.

Later, I can not be sure when, I was allowed to meet the two new individuals down the street in a field where they played.  I rode my non-color bike, for I do not remember a color, down to them along with my father and froze in horror as I witnessed their kites flying high in the cerulean sky.  They asked if I would pedal quickly underneath them and generate more wind for them to fly their kites higher.  Alas, I was not able to do this for them and instead pleaded with my father to go retrieve my own flying kite.  When I returned they had also changed their minds and were riding their bicycles.  They proceeded to return my favor and generate wind for me while working together.  That day my kite did not fly any higher, however, I could not have been any more elated.
