Poem: The Car From ''Well''

Posted on: 12/27/2012   Comments: 0   Views: 34

I've heard it said that it's a rich man's toy, Somehow it reveals within the man, a boy Books have been written, the stories they tell, About this car the one that's from, Well ! Testosterone flows it seems from every bolt, As it takes off with a very strong jolt Muscle cars have all come and gone now, Yet this one remains fascinating somehow As I pass by all that see me yell, There he goes again in the car from, Well! The lusty smell of tires, oil and grease, My trusty pal the steel and glass beast I could have had a more affordable car, My finances to this day are scarred I try to race others only to break down, Always far away from any town, In chagrin I realize without any joy, Why my car is called a rich man's toy My home will always be a section eight, For loving a car this is my fate, When I pass by all the people yell, There he goes in the car from, Well !
