I am a 15-year-old student, writer and DONA-trained birth doula. I have had over 20 articles published in print magazines such as Odyssey Magazine and Chicago Parent as well as several in online publications including True Genius Magazine and Scrubs Magazine. I am a current member of the Scholastic Kids Press Corps, and my assignments have included attending a rally for former Presidential candidate John McCain, and President Barack Obama’s Election Night and Super Tuesday Election Night parties. Even though I love to write, my true passion lies in the medical field. I aspire to be an OB/GYN and am currently in training to certify as a birth doula.
