It Has Been A Rough Year

I am adding this additional chapter to my introduction, because after I initially wrote the introduction, it was very difficult to come back to it and try to make sense of all that I have experienced through the various stages of my life and the trials that I have endured or overcome.  I wish ...

The High School Years were very formative.  I learned alot of life lessons and made some great friends.

My Junior Ring dance was a memorable event.  I made my dress and was not dating anyone, but was adamit that I was going to find an escort.  I posted an add on the wall, and had a few teachers scoping out "nice" guys that we unattached that could call me and discuss taking me to the dance.  I couldn't call them because, my parents were old fashion and it was not appropriate for girls to call boys.  It worked out, a very nice guy called me and took me to the dance. Unfortunately, he passed away a few months after the dance.

My most memoriable and loved event during this time, was saving and purchasing my own car.  My dream car, a chevette (yes!!! I mean it, I thought they were so cute.  I wanted a white one, but liked the one I got.. it had personality)

My graduation was very important to me and I planned my graduation party for months.  Many of my family members from New York came down to watch me march, it was great.
