It Has Been A Rough Year

I am adding this additional chapter to my introduction, because after I initially wrote the introduction, it was very difficult to come back to it and try to make sense of all that I have experienced through the various stages of my life and the trials that I have endured or overcome.  I wish ...

good question Sam

I don't remember ever writing a letter to Santa, although it seems very much like something my mother would have us do. I do remember watching the news on TV and they'd talk about how a sleigh with a red light had been spotted flying around and I'd get so excited!

My grandkids do

Mr. Sam,

Apparently now it's a sophisticated manner, and sometimes they even get replies. When we were children we expected him to be too busy. Now he probably has a full staff and PR team! Ha!

We were not allowed

We were told very young that Santa was not real and not part of OUR religion. I really really really hated that. It made me feel separate from everyone and how unfair it was that "they" got this jolly old man and we got no one like him. Hmph! I always wanted to write him a letter. But alas I never did. Think it's too late? LOL
