Darlene Hicks Clark was born in Jasper Alabama on August 23rd 1954 3 minutes after her twin sister Arlene. Lived and started elementary school in Dora Alabama where there were only whites in the schools at this time. Mother moved us kids to Miami Florida in search for dad who left Alabama in search for action. I went through a culture shock when we started school in the middle of the 4th grade where other cultures were going to school. There was no more adventures I had while in Alabama where there are forest to play in and stick horses to ride. No more making our own bows and arrow and kites to fly. I had and always had trouble making friends no matter where I was. I grew up In Miami Florida in Dade county on 4721 102 ave. and 48th street accross from Tropical state pool and Tropical Elem and Riviera Jr. high school. I got pregnant near the end of 10th grade and I started 11 grade until a girl ask if I was pregnant then I stop going to school. Went back to Alabama when I was 19 and got a job at Jack's in Dora Alabama. Moved to Tuscaloosa and stayed there for about 10 yrs. and then to Arizona met my husband moved to California had my daughter and left him in 1985 moved back to Arizona to Sierra Vista in a military town. I started college 1994 got my GED and started computer sciences classes. I was going to cochise college for many years just taking 2 classes a semester. I worked as a bartender. I moved back to Alabama started work at Waffle House in Jasper Alabama. I finally decided to buy a moble home and put it in Dora at 96 Sutton dr. and I lived there until 2006. I also started back to college in Medical transcription but did not finish so I started computer science again.My ex husband promise to buy me a home if I moved back to Arizona where Robert J. Clark met me and put money down for a home for me. I started back to college and got my degree in business management. Robert J. Clark also bought me a new 2003 Hyda Santa Fe in cash. Robert Died and gave his money to April and she bought a home and I paid to have a room built onto the home where she said I could live. She Got a boyfriend Name Ron Vanstien who had her to kick me out so I headed back to Curry Alabama to stay with my mother. I am back working for Waffle House in Decatur Alabama which is an hour drive but I am out of the other mess with my daughter.

That is quite the life Darlene. It's like a big circle with lots of players. How do you feel about what's happened to you so far?

Need A Phyco doctor

I believe I need to see someone I could talk to about my life and find out why I feel that my soul is gone or so bitter that I do not reconize myself anymore. I smile a lot and maybe that is to hide the pain but my bitterness still comes out after a while.
