You will never be forgotten because you live in my heart.

Someone I love has passed away,

I only found this out today.

My heart is aching,

My world seems sad.

Why didn't I know?

How could this be?

Does anyone care that I love her?

I feel good that I told her I loved her

Everytime I saw her face.

Each time she graced my presence with hers

Each time she kissed my cheek.

I feel right that I learned many things

From a beauty who called me a doll.

This woman who brought joy to my world

I wish I had known.

I suppose it wouldn't make much

I said the things

When she was alive

That would matter.

I told her she was

Someone I love is

No longer in pain.

She is dancing and twirling in circles.

The limits the world has

Placed on our lives

Are gone forever

For her.

She can run

She can play

And bring joy from

Above to us.

She was an angel on Earth

As she must be in Heaven.

My world seems a safer place,

Knowing my friend is looking down on us.

The truth is...

I wish that I had been able to spend more time with June.  I wish that she would walk back into my restaurant and gab with her girlfriends and pinch my cheeks.  Tell all the girls that I was Sarah Sarah and that these were her friends.  To see the joy in her face.  Always, joyful.  That is what I wish for my life.  To be like June. She lived a long and beautiful life, filled with the  love of her husband, children, grand children, and friends and family.   I could only be so lucky.  I hope that I too can bring sunshine into the lives of others. June Tonigan, you will be in my heart forever! FOREVER! the things I have learned from you, the laughs and smiles, could fill me up for a hundred years or more.  thank you for loving me.  choosing to be a part of my life.  Thank you for being an angel.

My heart breaks at this news. My soul feels a little too lost.  My spirit, is sad but inspired.
