Audrey, my daughter, who’s 4 years old going on 40, likes to ask her brother, Cameron, who’s 2 going on 2 ½, if he can say certain words. My daughter was able to say her ABC’s and 123’s by the time she was two and has a huge vocabulary now. I mean HUGE! She never stops talking. Never! I do mean NEVER! So one day while we were driving in the car, we were teaching Cameron his colors. Audrey took over. She’s a Virgo, I wonder if that has anything to do with it. “Cameron, can you say red?” “Ed” “Cameron, can you say blue?” “ewe” Cameron, can you say pink?” “ink” This went on and on for many miles. Audrey was using the same colors over and over. Mike wanted to change it up a little and maybe teach Audrey some new colors. He told Audrey there were many more colors than she could dream of and how beautiful they all are. He asked her to tell Cameron a different color. “Cameron, can you say light blue?” …………………………………… Isn’t she the darnest thing?
