I'm recovering from my surgeries. Still in a lot of pain in my abdomin but it's getting better. I got lots of pain killers right now but I hate taking them. I do though but only when I need them. I sleep a lot and spend a lot of time on the computer. I hate not being able to drive though! But hopefully it won't be long before I can drive again. I'm hoping they take the staples out next week when I go in for my follow up appointment! They're itching and pulling real bad already!
My dialysis acess is working well so far! They were able to use it for the outgoing blood on Wednesday but put the blood back in me through my temporary catheter that the doctors had inserted after my access clotted last week. That's because there isn't room for both needles yet. But eventually there will be room for both. And hopefully the access will keep working for a long time. If it doesn't I'll need surgery again to place a new access in my arm! For now it's working though! I just take it one day at a time and roll with the punches! We have to do the best with what we're given and I believe I do just that! | |
