During this period I had a 5 year contract with a gallery in New York and was sustaining. I traveled a great deal on road trips across the US and Canada as well as returned to my studio for more work, further exhibitions, coming to aquaint myself with new markets, and added interest in Europe. I was invited to exhibit in England, France and Italy during this period. The bodies of work exhibited mostly from sketchbook studies and plein air works done on tour. In the next chapter I make journies overseas eventually to become a permanent resident in Czech Republic, giving exhibits and teaching.
It is a draw to a close of my residence in Arizona and a beginning of a new vision which would last until my sudden return in 2006 from Italy. At this time I had recognized the theater of the arts had changed dramatically in my absence, encountering a long journey in the Road Across America (2006- present)
1994 is the change marked in the last colors of an era for the arts as I watched the world change, and with this a change in course to long distances, foreign residencies and New Worlds scarcely explored... | Comments
