If I Only Had a Heart.........

The Wizard of Oz was one of my favorite movies growing up as a child. I must have watched that video at least 1000 times. I could recite every word. But the first time I ever saw the movie was when my mother took me to see it in the movie theater when I was young. I remember her telling me ...

Far Away, But Still Under the ...

; On January 5th, 1990, at 4:35 p.m., I was born in a place separated by the vast Pacific Ocean, thousands of miles away from the nearest U.S. shore; Seoul, South Korea. Written by: Antje Aemlie Wilsch

I was born in 1970 in Bayern (southern Germany, Bavaria, home of Oktoberfest and Lederhosen) about 20 km south of Munich in Starnberg (am Starnberger See).

I love this site and want it to grow, so I hope you too will add your Story and leave your legacy for your kids, grandchildren and on and on.

This picture i use is a few years old now, but was a great, great memory of a New Year's party in St. Petersburg I attended with good friends. The entire night was magical from the weather, the company, the party, the country - sheer perfection.

Thanks for reading my Story. Gute Fahrt!

Additional Facts
I am a Bayern (Bavarian) and became a US citizen a dozen or so years ago. I love both countries passionately (Germany and US). I was born in Mozart’s hometown in Austria, Salzburg, but only because my father talked my mother into taking a trip while she was pregnant. I am mostly German and a little bit British. I moved to the US many years ago and became a naturalized citizen a few years back. I love the history and culture of Europe but I like the fresh faced enthusiasm of the US even more, especially the drive of Silicon Valley and the lure of the cultural diversity of the Bay area. San Francisco is one of the prettiest cities in the world (except on foggy days).
