THE IMAGINATION POWERS; I could Imagine anything I want and no one could stop me from pretending even if they said it wasn't true. I believed I was given special imagination powers. When I started pretending about something it became so real and as long as I never told anyone about my powers I would have them forever. I just knew that ALL adults where jealous of kids who still had imagination and pretend powers, so they would wait until a child tells them a 'made up story' then the adult would say's the words 'It's time to grow-up" and it goes in to the kids head and infects the brain and it changes the brain into believing that the kid has to grow up now and deletes his powers forever. It usually happened in the 1st grade. I remember coming up with this plan on how I would keep my powers. My plan was as soon as I started hearing my parents talking about me starting the first grade I would no longer use my powers in front of any adults so they would think I had already been infected with the 'grown-up' bug. I could only use my powers when it was safe to with my friends. I have always wondered who infected me?
