First and foremost, I am a devoted family man. My wife, Tanda, and I have five awesome children: 3 girls, and 2 boys. They're grown up now. We have eight grandchildren: five boys and three girls. They are each a delight. It is an amazing phenomena that when a person becomes a parent, their life changes for good. And when they become a grandparent... well, it's hard to find the words to express how much love a heart can hold.
I have owned a furniture store. I have been a Macintosh software engineer. I have invested in real estate, including a
luxury loft apartment in Historic Downtown Savannah, GA.
Now, I have designed a career doing and talking about what I love best — being a grandparent. I am the founder and creator of
The Grandparent Project. The project includes a popular grandparenting blog,
GrandparentsTLC.com, which my Tanda and I publish. It is dedicated to showing grandparents fun ways to connect with grandchildren using cool technology.
I am proud to say that I come from a religious pioneer heritage — hard working ancestors who have help settle America.
My life story here is a work in progress. I have kept a journal through much of my life. I will be updating my story, one slice at a time on this worthwhile Story of My Life website.
