It is easy to define who you are by your professional self. We spend hours writing bios, mission statements and visions for our work. It is a new endeavor to chronicle my life in whole. It has been a rich 44 years full of failures and successes, achievements and disappointments. The key is to look forward, learn from your mistakes but not dwell on the past. Create a new present. Define your future. Life is a journey...not a destination.

In the coming chapters I will take a look at my life. Who am I? Where have I been? Where am I now? Where do I want to go? How do I get there?

I am Lillya Nashanchik- a serial entrepreneur, coach and professional recruiter. My company, LNplus2, recruits top —tier digital talent for the interactive advertising industry. In the next year, I am launching a new offering.  I will utilize my 15 years of recruiting expertise as a consulting service to Web 2.0 technology start-ups that are founded by female entrepreneurs in New York.  After an in depth evaluation, I will provide a comprehensive recruiting plan to the rapidly growing company. One of the hardest aspects of aggressive growth is getting the right team in place. My recruiting plan will provide a detailed strategy that will allow the company to exceed their growth and build a culture that will foster long term relationships with their employees.

In my personal time, I love to travel all over the world and discover new cultures. I am also a big fan of the arts- museums, galleries, theater, film, music and dance. I live In New York and am often exploring new places. I am an avid networker and attend many events to expand my circle. I am very interested in technology and social networking.

It is not an easy task at hand.
