Sedona Arizona …. New Standard of Work for Free! (Or work because one must...forced labor without a shread of thought, a despotic mind entrenching- labor camp, greed nursery) My third year here has been a dreadful lesson, and one that has brought great light on what are values. I have seen silence among people and nonsense on every corner relative to basic needs, encroaching on hardship for many other than myself, but also inclusive of a typograph of non-sense reasoning, which has been a bitter pill in the livability of places, Sedona seeming a dead zone to want to survive, live, or encourage others to come.
Sedona It is not a community, though it plays itself by virtue of a new age image. Nor is there a feasible life to be had in the stream of places I have seen, endured or lived. Taxes are high (where do they go) Prices are high (we know) The community is absent unless one goes to the church of money..and then even if one has, and has a great deal, is torted to upset, and reminded of the times, a spotlight. What can one do but work, loose one dreams in the process, and attach themselves to a no-think, no thought place that is called 'spiritual' but lacks the integrity of this word..and will not release one from this concept. A place where true spirituality is lost to the common denominator, and fed 'pay' as one goes for each clearing, gleening and spiritual exercise. Gone good Christians... Amplified..the money crew of the New Age Church (Divination) Gone virtue.. And Faith.. All except for a very very few...and these we can count on ones hand... "The Lost Place" where one wants desperately to get away from. An alien place where even the heart can sink into the sands of the hills and ones abilities lost unless exploited, taken advantage of for a price held over ones head...
I watch as the values fail.. and I write, observe, and watch as piece by piece the image crumbles away for many as corporatism and greed sheer away the values, all the values, structures and livability in context to a small town that exploits more than it empowers, and makes waste to its resources....
Another Example...
of a symposium on the overwhelming exploitation and greed-
A Capital/Corporate Education? Is this what we seek as being the most stable, enlightening, highest source of learning? Pay to Play/Play and then pay to be Educated, the teachers being hired to work for free? Perhaps it is another total embarrassment to the system when the teacher themselves have to “Pay” to teach, while the students reach into their pockets to pay a middleman. The end of education as we use to know it has begun, it is the last stand as the future realized, is not a future at all but a ‘muck’, an assembly of Pay to Play coming to a head, like a infected pimple, gangrenous, and filled with economic strep.
In Sedona an education system has boiled forth that is a crying shame to respect those who have worked as teachers, have traditional doctorates, and are looking for representative examples of work as it is held sacred....to use talents to feed, and be paid to do so.
A college comes into existence that charges students for and education, and staves talents from volunteers in the teaching profession. No offer is given for pay, renumeration, balance of trade, in this job as teacher. It is a foul experiment, and one that is profitable from the other side...taking from the teachers pockets to pay a corrupt system. Could we allow this slight? We are doing so, bringing the entire system of quality to a new standard, value, and lower state of conciousness...in Pay to Play teaching, rather...volunteer here....and they are paid, the organizers!
Clever? Or another step in a slippery direction, lowering standards to less than a third world consciousness....
Luckily there are plenty of teachers. Unfortunately there are few who can afford the time of giving their educations away for free. Fortunately there are values, somewhere, seemingly more and more hidden as the world becomes unraveled in a profit takers scheme. Afterall who will volunteer their time for the pocketbook of the corporation.
As usual there is little if any communication or resistance. The entire issue will go full field until its finally found out, as issues of fairness and livibility are grave questions for Americans in the future as the entire ‘game’ is being pulled down around them, freedom, virtues and dreams being the bullet. The hunters are well aware and can pad their pockets with booty, that some may call corruption, but others call....the ways things are, and will be for future generations. There is no vote, but one can throw a stone very far into the horizon in a town of ten-thousand. There are no half-good paying jobs here unless in a backroom club, a back room for business of “yes-men”...which gets its way, always get their way... anyway it, this mentality wills it. Education should be protected from the notch seekers---but it is what it is as the onion skin of time, takes us back to warrent days before freedom, and before a sense of virtue.
Until that time...and educated person may starve to death here, their brains picked as food, outsourced by lack of key values, and left dry for everything and anything that is not keyed into profit in a already filled and guilded pocketbook of a seemingly national .
We as a nation should inspect such things, especially our core values before the key elements, the keystone, load carrying beam is brought suddenly down in discovery, and it becomes massive havoc by loss of integrity. | Comments
