I was able to find several great songs in 2010 but was more difficult. For example, the best web site (Lala.com) got shutdown by Apple. Site used now is eMusic.com. List below is best of all in rock/alternative segment

2	White Noise Artist: Useless Keys Album: Is The Painting Changing URL: http://www.playlist.com/playlist/additem/827781393 This song was my number #1 song half the first year of 2010 until I discovered Random Parade. Unfortunately, I cannot find a great way to embed that song here due to tools disappearing in 2010. make sure you click play ">" in the new window.
3	Letter To God Artist: Hole Album: Nobody's Daughter [Explicit] URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEoHHtuHJsI Wonderful song from Hole. I believe that song was released in 2007 but I discovered it only in 2010. When listening to this song, it brings me closer to a Nirvana.
4	Marz Artist: John Grant Album: Queen of Denmark URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83iPcpY3TPg Very nice melody and it reminds me of all my friends at NASA who want to go to Mars.

I could not find a complete song online to link to so should buy the song at eMusic.com to be able to listen to the complete song.
